"Sadly, on August 30, we lost our Shakeena's Erika the Red (Rikki) to an unknown illness. During her five years with us, she was our kennel's sweetest and most quiet girl. Rikki was always the first to please our friends and visitors. Although she did not enjoy showing, she always gave it her best effort. Her son, Willie, is living proof of what our Rikki really was...one that would not quit no mater what the odds. Her life was not a smooth path health wise but she hung in and never complained. She will always be remembered for her gentle way with a steel will for life. Our little Rikki will always be a happy part of our lives. So long our sweet red girl."
